PERFORMERS: RÜFÜS will perform at This That festival on October 31. Who needs butter when you have This That?
GENERAL admission tickets for This That have all sold one month out from it hitting Newcastle’s foreshore, making the Examiner’s competition for the festival all the more exciting.
The Examiner has a double pass containing two general admission tickets to give away to the Saturday, October 31, festival.
The Triple J-supported festival, the first of its kind, will see the likes of artists RÜFÜS, Birds of Tokyo, Sticky Fingers, Baauer, the Jungle Giants, the Kite String Tangle, Tkay Maidza, Camarda and Asta perform across the This and That stages during the day.
RÜFÜS will make their long-awaited return to the festival scene following their 2014 ARIA nominated and AIR Award-winning album Atlas.
The award-winning Kite String Tangle, which is the solo project of alternative electronic artist and producer Danny Harley, is another highly anticipated act set to pull a strong crowd to one of the stages.
Because music is best served with a side of tasty food, the festival will feature some of Sydney’s internationally renowned food trucks and craft beer.
There will also be an artisan market and artisan performances.
This That is an 18 years plus event.
